Art in education
The programme is based on non-conventional education
system. It also prepares the children and their parents
for formal education. This is to provide the children
with platform for expression through art.
The broad objectives of “Kinkini” have been
to revitalize the education system, by creating awareness
among students in regard to the plurality of the regional
cultures of India. At the same time, this knowledge
had to be integrated with education. The main thrust
is to link education with culture and making students
aware of the importance of culture in various aspects
of their lives.
This programme seeks to enhance the role of the arts
in education. The project has been designed to achieve
its goal by using the following methods divided into
two parts: ---
Workshops
- Workshops in rural areas based on education
- Drama on related text books
Presentation
- Slides and film presentation
- One act plays related to these Subjects
